State-of-the-Art Facility for a High-Tech School
Rutherford Technology High School is a comprehensive, coeducational secondary school with approximately 1100 students. It promotes a culture of high expectations through a supportive and innovative environment that is the showcase for NSW Public Education.
Spantech was nominated to supply a 370 Series curved roof and insulated ceiling for the covered sports centre. The facility includes two basketball courts and a large raised deck which can be used as a stage or covered learning area.
The northern end of the building features a large end wall enclosed with translucent panelling. It floods the space with natural light. Large louvers in the centre of the end wall ensures excellent ventilation throughout.
