Spantech profiles span further as roofing profiles. So naturally they also span further than most conventional metal walls and cladding profiles. This reduces the amount of intermediate structural members required to support the wall cladding.
Most commercially available wall system fittings, penetrations and insulation products can be incorporated with Spantech wall profiles. Where there are no cost effective commercial products available, Spantech can offer bespoke solutions.
Spantech will also collaborate with architects and engineers to develop project specific solutions when required.
The Spantech Longreach 800 profile has been used effectively on several commercial projects for a distinctive architectural effect. The most recent is the Cowboys High Performance Centre, Townsville. The project features over 1,500 lineal metres of Spantech Longreach 800 profile.
Part of the Longreach feature cladding wall covers the mechanical ventilation equipment area. Spantech perforated the panels in this area to allow air to circulate through the profiles while still maintaining a discrete and effective visual screen.
Spantech has an agreement with a local Australian company to paint the Longreach 800 profile any colour in the Dulux range. Architects now have unlimited creative colour freedom.
