Building an iconic tourist attraction in the heart of the Australian outback.

Murweh Shire Council via the Melbourne based project architect March Studio, invited Spantech to tender on the construction of the landmark Outback Museum of Australia (OMOA).

Spantech offered a Value Management solution as a key part of it’s tender submission. It included a staged construction approach dividing the project into affordable stages that allowed Council to secure Federal funding and complete a major portion of the design.

Council advised other stand-out factors in the awarding of the contract included Spantech’s extensive experience delivering complex projects to Regional Councils, and a comprehensive safety, quality and environmental management system supported by OFSC Accreditation.

Spantech commenced work in September 2023 with handover of stage 1 planned for October 2024.
