Project Overview
Cameron’s Pastoral Company operates a major piggery outside Goondiwindi.
Spantech constructed a grain storage facility to suit sorghum and other bulk grains at the piggery.
The buildings allow the operator to store enough bulk grain to ensure continuous operation for almost six months.
The buildings compliment the vertical silos at the farm which are designed to store some of the other ingredients of the feed mix which are used in much smaller quantities. However, unlike vertical silos, the Spantech sheds can be used to store other items such as trucks and farm equipment.
The facility has been expanded and modernised over a number of years as the piggery operation has grown.
